Daniel Durning
is dedicated to the promotion of digital art and animation and he has participated in numerous events for the NYC computer graphics community. He is an active member of BWAC and is currently organizing a large international Video and Art event the "
Red Hook International Film and Video Festival". He works with WPS1 to produce an artist interview forum that focuses on the developments of art and technology. Currently has serves as a member of the Board of Directors of NYC ACM SIGGRAPH and organization devoted to the advancement of Computer Graphics community in NYC.

MetroCAF 2004 Chair
The NYC ACM SIGGRAPH, Metropolitan Area College Computer Animation Festival
On behalf of the Board of Directors, NYC ACM SIGGRAPH I originated the MetroCAF Computer Animation Festival and initiated an Annual NYC Juried Computer Animation Competition open to all Metropolitan Area College Students.
This year the MetroCAF2004 screening was held on Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at New York University's Kimmel Auditorium, Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.

responsible for organizing, currating, installing entries for the first annual summer show and auction.
Show included 700 artworks from 350 current members. Exhibition was exhibeted in the Van Brunt Piers in 3 adjancent warehouse spaces.

MetroCAF Organizer
The NYC Metropolitan Area College Computer Animation Festival
On behalf of the Board of Directors, NYC ACM SIGGRAPH I helped to create the MetroCAF Computer Animation Festival and initiate the First Annual NYC Juried Computer Animation Competition open to all Metropolitan Area College Students.
Two separate events were created
The MetroCAF Preview screening held on April 5th, 2003 and the MetroCAF Premiere New York Screening held on September 30th, 2003.
